Cummeragunja Mission Station (also Cumeroogunga) is an Aboriginal reserve situated in Yorta Yorta country on a bend in the Murray River in New South Wales, near the Victorian town of Barmah. In March 1984 the newly-created Yorta Yorta Land Council took possession of the land. The tiny, unmarked graves in the cemetery bore witness to the sad reality. They petitioned the Governor at the time for the creation of a new reserve and were granted 1800 acres to produce a farm in 1888.
